As the Tower Hamlets SEND Independent Parent Forum, we understand the challenges that parents of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) face. We believe that parents have the power to make positive changes in their child’s education, and we strive to empower them with information, resources, and support to become confident advocates for their children.
Our forum provides a safe and supportive space for parents and carers to share their experiences, ask questions, and connect with other families in similar situations. We host regular events and workshops that cover a range of topics related to SEND, including education, health, and social care. Our goal is to ensure that parents have access to accurate information and have a voice in decisions that affect their children’s lives.
We work closely with local authorities and service providers to raise awareness of the needs of children with SEND and to improve the provision of services in Tower Hamlets. By working together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive community for children and families.
